I was fortunate enough, to be invited to have lunch with the former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, 82, at his home in Titi Gajah, Alor Star, Kedah today. It was a sumptuous lunch and he talked about his experience in general elections campaign, since 1964 till his last, in 1999.
Dato' Mukhriz was away on the campaign trail since this morning. Tun Dr. Mahathir will visit Kampung Kandis BN elections post at 4.00pm and UMNO Jerlun's Headquarters at 8.30pm this evening.

There were prawns cooked in sambal, cuttlefish in thick spicy gravy, chicken, dalca and beef rendang. The photo was taken while we were having some fruits for desert.
I only had the chicken and few spoonfuls of rice.
The 'Living Legend' sounded me out "Hang tak makan satu suap pun lagi....bila nak besaq ni!"
I was so utterly impressed when Tun Dr. Mahathir de-skinned and diced up the prawns for his 93 year old sister and made sure she started to eat before he himself start putting food on his plate, even though there was a dedicated server.
Honestly, eating was the least on my mind, in that 30 min session!

cant blame you big bro. to be on the same table as drM, my appetite would surely shy away. never mind the prawns and the squids.
He sounds so witty yet intelligent, as always.
